Swimming
Swimming involves many different shoulder movements because of the many different types of strokes involved. With all of the strokes you are moving your body against a substance that wants to resist your forward movement. All the different strokes place different stresses on the shoulder. With those stresses it is common for shoulder pain and more wear and tear, chronic type injuries. This means that swimmers should really strengthen their shoulders, as well as maintain flexibility. They should also be aware of shoulder pains and if something does not feel right.
