Baseball/Softball
Baseball and softball are probably the two sports that come to mind when you think of most types of arm injuries. Especially chronic types. There is a lot of torques and forces put on the shoulder because of the velocity with which the balls are thrown. There is also the issue of the parts of the shoulder just wearing out due to the amount of use. When pitchers go out for a pitch outing their pitch count is kept and they are taken out at various points in the game depending on how well they are pitching and how many pitches they have thrown. This important because of the amount of stress that is put on the arm as a whole with each pitch and the pitch count is a way to limit that stress. After an outing it is common for the pitcher to have their whole arm covered in ice to reduce any swelling and pain that could have occurred.
